Electrical appliances can put off a slight smell upon the first few uses due to manufacturing, if the smell persists after the first 3-4 uses please contact our Customer Service Centre.

Your motor base can also begin to make a strange smell when the blade is worn out/seized as the motor is overworking to accommodate the seized blade. We recommend replacing your blade every 6 months depending on use and ensuring there is enough liquid when blending. If your blade begins to make a strange noise it is an indication you need to replace the blade.
